TWELVE TIPS TO ENJOY A MORE RELAXED LIFESTYLE

Here are some tips and tricks to make your life a little better and to significantly reduce the symptoms of stress, regaining control of your daily life.

1 Get up early

The first thing we can do to regain control of our lives is simply to get up an hour or two earlier each morning. Whether it's having one less beer the night before, organizing yourself to go out at work time, or not getting hooked on watching several episodes of your favorite series... In the morning, that extra time will serve to avoid leaving in a rush for the rest of the day and noticeably increase the feeling of control.

2 Always keep in mind the 80/20 rule

The Pareto principle established that 80% of the results are determined by 20% of the causes, that is, 20% of the effort generates 80% of the results.

Pareto postulated that this law applies to multiple situations in real life. At work or in your daily tasks, many times 20% of the responsibilities take up 80% of your time. Try to take advantage of your time for what brings you the greatest benefit and you will be able to significantly reduce your effort.

3 Breathing fresh air is vital

Throughout your day it is essential to take a walk or do some exercise outdoors, especially if you spend the entire day sitting at a desk. If you can take a break from your day to enjoy the daylight and fresh air, this will have a very positive impact on your mood and will help you be more productive and relaxed.

4 Eliminate junk food

By now everyone knows that diets with high amounts of junk food pose a risk to our health and well-being. You can see that it is really worth making a little effort and organizing yourself to enjoy good quality food every day. Always avoid eating out as much as possible, and if you have no choice, look for places that serve healthy and fresh dishes.

It is proven that the healthier your meals are, the less stressed you will feel, the more agile and awake you will be throughout the day, and ultimately you will feel better.

After all, we are, among other things, what we eat!

5 Vitamin D: enjoy its benefits

Sunbathe whenever you have the opportunity: take advantage of the sun's rays. It has been proven that absorbing vitamin D, of course with proper protection, improves your mood and makes you feel more relaxed and energetic.

If the weather permits, take a dip, and if not, it doesn't matter! Take advantage of the sunny days, whether summer or winter, to walk along the beach (if you have it nearby) or simply sit on a bench or on a terrace. Even if it's only 10 minutes, your body and mind will thank you.

6 Remove obstacles from your path

Making a list of pending tasks every day, prioritizing important and urgent things, is a habit shared by many highly productive people. From there, with the time we have left, take care of other less priority tasks. In this way we will focus our efforts on what is really important and clear our minds to function better throughout the day.

7 Organize your inbox

It may take you an hour or two, but it is highly recommended to check your email accounts and unsubscribe from a few websites and online stores that really do not interest you. A clean inbox helps you keep a clear mind and be more relaxed.

8 Use the power of music

If you feel stressed, nervous or down, use appropriate music to balance your mood. Music has a very strong impact on our present emotions, and therefore it is a powerful ally to regain balance when you need it.

9 Optimize your social networks

Through social networks, you continually receive "inputs" that often do not contribute anything to you and that can represent an unnecessary expenditure of energy for you. If that person you haven't had contact with since high school is always posting things that don't interest you, try unfollowing them. You will be much happier and will have more time to focus on the things that interest you. Stop following and reading what really doesn't give you anything!

10 Domiciliate all your payments

Domiciliating your bill payments will help you save time and reduce your worries: paying fees and taxes, community fees, rent, insurance, supplies, etc. Simply activate an alert on your phone to control expenses but don't spend your time managing everything you can automate.

11 Reduce notifications on your mobile

Try turning off notifications for all those apps that don't require an immediate response. This way you will only check your social media accounts, your emails, or other notices when you have a moment to do so, not every time a buzzer tells you to!

12 Dress appropriately to feel more confident

Find a balance with your style and appropriate for your daily life, that allows you to feel more comfortable throughout your day and thus feel more confident and secure when doing things. Get rid of all those clothes that you haven't worn in years, some people need them and will give them a second life, and it will help you organize your closet and, in the process, your mind.
